Job Description

We are seeking a Finance Manager to manage the company’s financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements in accordance with FRS. This role is critical in managing accounts payable processes, conducting financial close processes, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and performing consolidated financial reporting across all entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, audit coordination, and financial controls, with expertise in enhancing financial operations and driving digital transformation within the finance department.

Responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent.
  • 8+ years in finance.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance principles.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Requirements

1. -Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements in accordance to FRS.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including the accurate and timely filing of GST returns and other tax-related documents.
  • Perform consolidated financial reporting, ensuring accurate and comprehensive financial statements across all entities.

 

2. Accounts Payable, Journal Entries, Accruals, and Reconciliation:

      • Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices and reconciliation of accounts.
      • Prepare and post manual journal entries, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
      • Handle accruals, ensuring expenses and revenues are recorded in the correct accounting periods.
      • Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.

 

3. Audit and Liaison:

  • Coordinate and manage external audits, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulators, ensuring all queries and requirements are addressed promptly and accurately.
  • Prepare and review audit schedules, ensuring all necessary documentation is available and accurate.

 

4. Financial Controls and Risk Management:

  • Enhance financial controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard the organization’s assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents to ensure they reflect current practices and regulations.
  • Identify inefficiencies in financial operations and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and accuracy.
  • Assist the Finance Director in developing and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate financial risks, ensure robust internal controls, and enhance financial policies to improve governance and operational efficiency.

 

5. Inter-company Transactions:

  • Handle inter-company transactions, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of inter-company accounts.

 

6. Digital Transformation:

  • Lead initiatives to drive digital transformation within the finance department, including the adoption of new technologies and software to improve financial operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest financial technologies and trends, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
