Job Description

In this role, the intern’s main responsibility is to develop QC automation test cases for AXS Mobile application product (Android and iOS Platform).

The intern will learn how to solve real world challenges with automation with its own complexities and limitations on existing automation tools. The successful candidate is expected to deliver efficient test automation strategy, implementing test automation framework with high reusability for automation testing projects.

Responsibilities
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze the results
  • Build automated testing tools and scripts for driving application test
  • Build, review and improve existing QA reporting system
  • Report directly to QA Manager and perform R&D Activities related with QA
  • Expected to multi-task on various QA work supporting project implementation
  • Must be proactive, self-directed and able to work independently
Requirements
  • Experience in Java programming language (minimum requirement)
  • Polytechnic or University undergrads are welcome to apply
  • Experience in backend application development (e.g. PHP, Python, Go)
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors well
  • Ability to articulate issues to both stakeholders and developers well
  • Attention-to-detail with high sense of responsibility
  • Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle
  • Experience with different operating systems, Windows, Linux, Mac
  • Knowledge/experience on web or mobile application test automation (e.g. Selenium, Appium, Playwright)
  • Knowledge/experience on API testing (e.g. Postman / Karate / Playwright)
  • Knowledge/experience on Gitlab, Github, or other CI/CD platforms is a plus
  • Knowledge/experience on TestNG / Jest testing framework is a plus
  • OWASP Security Knowledge (preferred)
