Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Tech QAQC Engineer to write and execute test cases (manual or automated), identify defects, and analyze results. This role is critical in ensuring all quality issues are properly documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, with expertise in building and improving test automation scripts, maintaining testing dashboards, and producing test summary reports.

Responsibilities

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Software Engineering, IT or related field
Demonstrated expertise in software quality assurance, with a strong command of automated and manual testing
Excellent documentation skills in drafting clear and concise test scenarios, test cases, along with in-depth knowledge of QA methodology
Experience in either Java, JavaScript, Typescript programming languages
Proactive, self-directed and able to work independently

Knowledge/experience on TestNG framework
Knowledge/experience in automated testing on web applications (e.g. Selenium), mobile applications (e.g. Appium), or APIs (e.g. Karate)
Knowledge/experience in Git-based tools (e.g. Gitlab)
Knowledge/experience in build management tools (e.g. Maven, Gradle, NPM)
Knowledge/experience on databases (e.g. MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)
Experience on backend application development (e.g. PHP, Python, Go)
Experience with different operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac)
OWASP Security knowledge

Requirements

Write and execute test cases (manual or automated)
Identify defects and analyze results
Ensure all quality issues are properly documented, tracked and resolved in a timely manner
Build and improve test automation and scripts for various application testing, in accordance to test strategy
Build, review and improve existing QC reporting system
Work closely with the team to continuously identify risks and close those gaps to ensure comprehensive test coverage for every product release
Proactively identify problems, plan solutions, recommend testing & automation solutions that will meet business needs of the team
Maintain and update testing dashboard to make testing metrics and testing activities visible
Produce test summary reports for each test cycle
Ensure that products are released error-free and that all features function as intended
Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, languages and techniques
Report directly to QC Manager and perform R&D Activities related with QC
Support various QA/QC work across multiple projects implementation
