Operations Risk Manager

Job Description

You’ll be responsible for strengthening our risk control strategy, driving key strategic initiatives and striving for the right balance of business growth, customer experience as well as our risk control bottom line.

Responsibilities

  •  Analyzing business operations to identify potential risks arising from internal challenges, mismanagement, and breakdowns
  • Develop and execute a structured plan to create, implement, test, and maintain business continuity and crisis response
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test business continuity plans
  • Collaborate with IT security team to set up the infrastructure required for BCP implementation
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
  • Ensuring effective operational risk practices aligned with internal and regulatory requirements
  • Being a source of advice and quality control for risk management policies
  • Identifying, reviewing, and making recommendations on key risks and control issues

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Business or any relevant discipline.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in risk management or internal audit
  • Strong understanding of Risk Management tools such as audits, ERM etc.
  • Meticulous with good critical thinking skills and ability to see the bigger picture
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • People-oriented manager who is self-motivated and could manage diverse stakeholders
